It's easy! What you'll need: Just pour a forty to sixty pound bag of cement into a pail or bucket that you can get at your local hardware store. Tape the end of the pipe and plunge into the center of the wet cement about six-eight inches. Leave about four to six inches of the pipe sticking out of the bucket.
Other ways to make a stand
Rebar For use in a lawn or into dirt, you can use common rebar found at your local hardware store. You can buy it pre-cut in two or three foot lengths. Just hammer it into the ground and the pole will slip right over it. Galvanized Pipe
Just like rebar, you can buy two or three foot lengths of 1/2-1" plumbing pipe. Hammer it into the ground and the pole will fit right over the pipe. Umbrella Stands
Most umbrella stands work great for the flag poles. Just slip them in the slot just like you would an umbrella. |
