1. Remove brown cap from end of pole

2. Extend pole in sections, pulling each joint together tightly (only extend as long as needed)

3. Slide rubber tube over narrow end of pole, as far down as needed

4. Slide flag down over rubber tube and pole as far as desired

5. If necessary, tie a small knot in the top of the flag to stop flag from sliding down the pole further

6. The easiest way to mount your pole is to hammer a garden stake, approximately 1 foot into the ground leaving approximately 1 foot above the ground. Remove the black cap from the bottom of the pole, and slide the pole over the protruding stake. We also suggest you mount your pole on a slight angle, as this will help your flag hang correctly.
